Rochelle Hume LLB

Rochelle is an experienced litigator with a passion for working through difficult and challenging disputes and settling them in the way that most benefits the client. She has resolved many clients' disputes at private mediation, but has also successfully represented clients in the Court of Appeal, High Courts, lower tribunals and private arbitration.

Rochelle's desire to become a lawyer was due to her overwhelming sense of community, fairness and justice; but also to extend and challenge herself. She discovered a passion for contracts, company law and insolvency, and grew her desire to argue and rationalise into the art of advocacy.

Rochelle's passion is in the fields of Technology and Intellectual Property. In addition to dispute resolution, Rochelle has a wealth of commercial experience in these areas and loves working with clients to commercialise their creativity. She challenges herself to leave no stone unturned in providing the right legal solution for each client, and providing information for clients in a timely and appropriate manner. Rochelle believes in empowering clients to make the best choices for them, by explaining the process, costs and likely outcomes as plainly as possible.
